SHOP FAQ
Does middlemist have a physical location?

Currently we are an online shop only.

Will Middlemist make same day deliveries?

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate same day deliveries. Our current delivery days are Wednesday and Friday.

When will my bouquet/arrangement be delivered?

Deliveries are made on Wednesdays and Fridays currently. We call ahead to ask if the recipient or someone will be available to accept the order. We do this mostly because of weather – either too hot or too cold. Unfortunately we can not guarantee specific times for deliveries. If there is no response from the recipient we will leave your order in a protected place.

What if I am not home/ work, or the recipient is unavailable to receive the arrangement?

If the recipient is not available, we will find a protected place to leave the bouquet or arrangement.

Please note: If delivering to an office building, we will follow the security protocol for the building. So, your delivery may be left with Reception or Security.

Is Middlemist open on weekends and holidays?

No, we are a small family business, and not open on weekends or select holidays currently.

Will Middlemist deliver on weekends?

Only for prescheduled events, not daily or subscription deliveries.

Will Middlemist deliver on holidays?

No, we are a small family business and cannot accommodate holiday delivery at this time. We will deliver the working day before the holiday or the next working day after the holiday.

Where does Middlemist deliver?

Middlemist delivers to homes and businesses within Golden and surrounding areas. Enter your zipcode here to see if we deliver to you. We will expand to other areas as demand increases.

PRODUCT FAQ
Will Middlemist create a custom bouquet or arrangement?

Unfortunately, no. Middlemist is a Designer Choice studio. This allows us to reduce our waste. However, if you email us at care@middlemist.co, we can do our best to see if something might be possible.

BOUQUET SUBSCRIPTIONS FAQ
Choose from three options to have flowers delivered on repeat
  • Weekly – you choose the size and we’ll deliver once a week
  • Bi-weekly – you choose the size and we’ll deliver every two weeks
  • Monthly – you choose the size and we’ll deliver once a month
Billing
  • Subscriptions will be billed to you the week your flowers are scheduled for delivery.
  • Pauses to subscription must be made 15 days before next delivery date. Email care@middlemist.co to pause subscription
  • Cancellations to subscriptions must be made 15 days before the next delivery date. Email care@middlemist.co to cancel subscription
Vase

A free vase is included with every subscription package. It is delivered with the first order. Subsequent bouquet orders are delivered in our tear away packaging.

Is Middlemist available for collaborations with other vendors?

Is Middlemist available for Private Classes or Workshops?

Sometimes! With current Covid guidelines, our workshops are more intimate affairs. Let’s make sure we’re a fit for what you have in mind. Please email hello@middlemist.co with the details of your request. Also include your preferred contact method, email or phone. We’ll respond within 24 hours.

Is Middlemist available for Wedding Florals?

At this time, Middlemist does not offer wedding packages. We’ll keep you posted on when we begin styling for full-service weddings.

Is Middlemist available for other events besides weddings?

Will Middlemist donate flowers?

On an individual and limited basis Middlemist will offer a 20% discount for event florals for a charitable cause. Please email hello@middlemist.co with the details of your request. Also include your preferred contact method, email or phone. We’ll respond within 24 hours.

Flower Care FAQ
Bouquets:
  • Remove Packaging:
    • Recycle Kraft paper and Middlemist logo sticker
    • Compost PLA Bag
    • Compost Eco Fresh Hydration (https://ecofreshbouquet.com/)
    • Compost Bind Wire
    • Reuse or dispose rubber band
    • Reuse or dispose ribbon
  • Put Cool Water and Flower Food in a clean vase
  • Cut stems at an angle and by at least ½ an inch. Put flowers in water
  • Please do not put flowers:
    • In direct sun light
    • Near a heater vent
    • Above the refrigerator
    • Over the fireplace
    • Near a clothing dryer
    • Under a bright light
  • When you remember, change water and remove dying blooms or foliage. Daily is ideal. Your bouquet or arrangement will last longer with proper care.
Arrangements:
  • Please do not put flowers:
    • In direct sun light
    • Near a heater vent
    • Above the refrigerator
    • Over the fireplace
    • Near a clothing dryer
    • Under a bright light
  • Add water to vase
  • Change water daily or as often as you remember, your blooms will last longer with proper care.
  • Add flower food on second day when you are changing the water
  • Pull out any decaying blooms from arrangement as they appear, so they don’t spread bacteria
  • Remember! Clean water will keep your arrangement lasting longer
